Hi All

1 When you have your insurance how do you find what you want? What is important for you?
2 Is there a separate breakdown and personal travel that work together even if you use seprate companies? I worry that if anything happens to van or car we use the breakdown, obvious, but if something should happens on your personal insurance which is another company what happens to van and car?

and thirdly, we might have to find storage nearer to home, does anyone no of a not overpriced place in or around Redditch, Evesham or stratford?

Thanks all

Hello smiley.

I'm notquite clear as to what you are looking for, but here goes,

Every insurance policy has to be supported by a set of terms and conditions..You shoud read these before you buy the insurance, as they define what cover you will get , and they will also tell what is not covered.

If you have questions aboout the cover you must ask the insurance company of their agent. If having fully integrated policies for car and caravean etc is important to you, then you may be better using just one insurance company and tell them what you want so they can advise and supply all the components you need.

comparison sites will not give all tehinformation you are looking for, so I sugegst you try using an insurance broker. They shoudl be able to discuss your needs and advise about the best policies for the job.
If it is caravan related insurance, then talk to teh CC or C&CC who act as brokers and have some well respected insurance products.

I'm sorry I cant offer any help with the storage site.

Just as a suggestion as you are concerned about caravanning, you may get some good advice from the caravan club of the CC&C.

Alternatively go to an insurance broker who should do all the checking for you

It is ponly by reading the terms adn conditions will you be able to find out if your varuis policies will support each other or leave you out on a limb. It may help to get all you policies from one insurance company and whne buying

I don't think I asked that quite right.

I have had CC insurance motoring and personal for years, but it is very expensive now.. I know it's an excellent insurance and you tend to get what you pay for.

But I have been reading how people are now looking at overseas insurance ACDC and I wanted to know how many have their insurance motoring separate from the personal ins?

I beleive the AA do moroing and personal, but, agian how good ae these policies? Has anyone had couse to use them?
