2002 ford mondeo spring assistors

he everybody

anybody using any with good effect?

Why would you want spring assistors? Are the existing springs suffereing from old age? As you can't load the car up any more when it's towing than when it's fully laden solo it would appear that there is something wrong if there is a need for spring assistors.

when the car has 2 adults, 3 children, a boot full of clothes etc etc and with the van also on the back it does tend to go down a bit so could do with some extra strenght,
i might fit some heavy duty springs an see if it makes a difference,
i havent actually towed the van with this car but had a 2003 mondeo ghia last year and towed it fine but just felt it could do with being a bit harder,
in hindsight we should have kept our discovery that had air suspension so would keep the same level regardless of what was in the car.

ok guys, thanks for your help
so its probably more of a loading fault of mine rather than the car suspension, i will pay special attention next time and see how it goes

thanks again
josh
