2006 Elddis Crusader

Hi folks - anyone else with one of the above models had experience of the toilet "sliding" door coming off its runner. Mine appears to heve "shrunk" and no longer engages the runner at the top. Cannot "relocate" it as it seems too short! How strange. Any info/help/advice gratefully received before I contact dealer.

Hi Garry - definitely one for the dealer but I was just collecting evidence in case of argument. Its always useful knowing if others have had similar issues and what the remedy was.

Cheers

hi john, we will keep our eye on ours, one thing we did/do get (not noticed as much just lately) is "sawdust"in the bottom track wonder if its the bottom edge of the door wearing on the track. still enjoying the van. hope you get your problem sorted ,jim

Hi Crusader - yes, still enjoying the van. Small bits of sawdust do materialise from time to time - I presume this is a natural occurance.

Cheers

Hi folks - just an update. Contacted dealer who will order new door today and which should arrive for when van is serviced in mid-March. New door will be fitted if existing one cannot be re-tracked! Excellent, no quibble service!

Cheers

John, is the door parrallel with the van side or across the back? It may be a good idea to check and see if the floor is level.

Our 03 Omega had a door across the rear dinning area and was forever coming off the rail's. After speaking to a gent in the trade we got rid! Hope your's is o/k.Bazz.
