Like buying a car you can expect a slightly better trade in value by having a newer model, but this depends on how long you intend to keep the van and what condition it is in come the time to sell on. In the past I have always sold my vans privately as I have always been able to get more for them than the trade in value. We paid the same for the 2006 as the price is agreed when you decide to buy. The roof constuction appealed to my husband, along with the interior layout of course.I have read the Fendt thread Allyson, but I must admit I have not noticed any more noise from rainfall on the roof of the Bailey to my previous Ace, and its had plenty of rain on it to test it!. The only noticeable difference is that the roof does not flex when you wash the van. Even though Bailey do not advise you to do this when they launched the Pageant Series 5 I recall seeing a photo with two guys stood on the roof. Proves the additional strength you get from a fully bonded constuction
