i have recently nearly bought a baily senitor virgina 2007 van but as part of the deal i had a pre purchase check done it turns out that the van has damp in the walldrobe at high level (at the back of the van to left of island bed)the chap doing the test said it would cost around 1500 to repair , the seller has agreed to take this and a little bit more of the price . the rest of the van seems ok my problem is being new to caravaning do the damp repairs usually hold up ok? is it a case that once you have damp you will allways have damp? its a lovely van and at a good price .ps the service chap thought it was caused by the rails on the side and roof .should i walk away.please help!!!
