Had a "new" Sorento KX2 since May replacing my 2009 Sorento XE. The new model is an excellent tow car, better than the 2009 version. I can not compare it with the 2013/14 - have not driven one.
Solo it drives more like a car than a 4x4.
I tow a Bailey Unicorn Cadiz which has a MTPLM of 1590Kg. The combination of the two gives a very stable journey, just be aware of your speed as it is very easy to exceed the speed limits !!!

thanks 4 reply bobbailey I had 13 sorento kx1 ,now have 16 kx1 what a complete change in spec to the older 1,
fixed swan neck towbar rather than the 2 bolts , have not hooked up yet but should be good ,according to the reviews I have read ,happy towing to you .
