2017/18 Blown Air or 2016 Wet Heating Caravan.

Sorry this question has made the rounds before but Going to change our caravan, and wondering is it better to get a van with wet or blown heating, would like an Elddis and it comes down to a 2016 Affinity (wet) or 2017 dealer Special Edition (blown) or 2018 Avante' (blown), their price is nearly the same. We generally tour from April to the end of September.
 
If you look at the recent thread “Alde Heating” you will get a wide range of views on the pros and cons of both types. Your decision will undoubtedly be influenced by those views and how you plan to use the caravan during your touring season April-September.
 
We have had blown heating in five motorhomes and now have changed to a caravan with wet heating an we love it and we would definitely not want to go back to the blow one even if we go back to motorhoming.
 
If you only use the caravan from April to September the question is probably only academic. The difference between the two would only ever be relevant in very cold weather and you are unlikely to have to deal with that. On that basis unless you feel the other extras on the dealer special warrant spending the extra, I would stick with the presumably cheaper blown air model.
