2017 Swift Challenger 635 review

"You won’t find the same layout for the same price anywhere this season," says our Nigel of this central-washroom, transverse-island-bed Swift after living in it for a week. Click here to read more!

As stated very few are going to buy without the upgrades which actually then makes it quite expensive and you had pretty much just go for the next model up in the range. The 80's and 90's Swifts were much easier to understand with much clearer definition as to what you were getting throughout the ranges and price points. That could of course be said for many other brands.

My main gripe throughout all of the Swift ranges is the lack of bulkhead by the door making that corner of the seat unusable for reclining whilst looking out of the front window. This is an increasing issue with many manufacturers.

It seems as if a lot of mid range vans are losing standard equipment to the options list. The newer Pegasus' from Bailey have gone down that route too.

Given the standards of modern caravans I would not grip it as it will come away in your hands.

We went into one at the October nec show. THe ingress to the bedroom through the bathroom was tight and awkward. Not for us.
