240v Truma heater controller wanted, I think!

Can anyone help? We're having Truma heater problems in our 2003 Bailey Ranger. The 240v rotary control knob under the front seat does not light up and operate the heater despite all the electrical connections checking out, I've tested them personally, supply, fuse, connections etc.. The gas works fine. Does anybody have any suggestions or a spare controller (which is situated directly behind the rotary knob)for sale? Thanks in anticipation.

Phil, before buying a new control knob, the problem is probably not there.

If the knob rotates fully without resistance it is fine, if it springs back, it needs replacing.

Assuming there is not a problem there, then it will be a problem with either one, or both ,temp control and temp limiter switches , or a problem on the PCB.

The wall control is run by 12 volts, this is derived from a crude tranformer on the main pcb behind the fire. I have known this 2x6v tranformer to burn out and it's useful to know RS stock them!
