A weird one this...
I bought a Combicool in the autumn and have used it a few times on household mains supplies with no problem.
Took it away last week for first use in van in UK - worked all the way down on 12V from car.
On site connected to mains and no cooling even though some heat was coming from back of fridge, supply worked fine on halogen fire and fuses OK.
Managed to get intermittent cooling for a while by using mains and gas together and then nothing.
Bought it back home, plugged it in and it works on mains.
My thoughts are that there might be some kind of protective device working because of
a/ I had to level the fridge using wads of cardboard as the ground was sloping, this was very rough and there might be a tilt sensor?
b/ The mains was not of good enough quality (I would have expected gas to work OK if this so)
Another thought is that there may have been an airlock caused on the way down and rectified on the way back
Any body come across the problem/have the answer please?
