70 rising to 80 on the motorway????

I wonder when was the last time someone got prosecuted for doing 80mph on a 70mph strecth of motorway

80mph is long overdue. My old Cortina 1200 Mk 1 could just about do 75 mph flat out. My previous Audi and Renault could all do over 120mph so 80mph for most must be ok for today's cars.
More importantly it's about time the driving test included some motorway driving.
 
Back in the day, my ex postoffice moggy minor van was in grave danger of the doors dropping off at 70Mph

I couldn't agree more, that the driving test must be updated to include motorway driving and preferably also introduce periodic driver assessments to maintain the standard.

But then, I did just see a herd of pig fly past my window
