98 ford explorer problem

my dad has a r reg ford explorer which doesnt always start he thinks its sensetive to mobile phone masts does anyone know if there is a solution to this

Ther are a number of very localised places where Radio Frequency Interference can affect things like car immobilisers and alarm systems. I suggest you contact Ofcom for advice.

It depends on whether the phone masts are Republican or Democrat. Otherwise i would suggest trying a Ford dealer.

he thinks because its an american import that the frequency is the same, driving us up the wall with it it recently went in to the garage for some welding work on the boot and they flattened battery so it wouldnt start had to push it to another garage though because it was under a phone mast just wondered if anyone else who has an explorer has had this
