A class of 14 year olds in a comprehensive school was asked in a RE lesson to bring an item to school that reminded them of the true meaning of Christmas.
One child brought along a small present as it reminded her of the presents given to the new born baby. A second child brought along a model manger as it reminded her of the crib used for the baby.
This went on for a while until Johnny held up a pair of pink frilly knickers. The teacher asked him of the significance of this, to which Johnny replied
"Their Carols......"
