Rang the dentist yesterday to book a checkup.

No problem they said , we can fit you in 3.30pm yesterday, 10.00am today plus a selection for the rest of the week.

A year ago you had to wait a month to get in for routine stuff.

Have people died or are they not spending on their teeth?

Cheers

I tried to book a check up for my daughter in september first available was next week although that could be due to the fact I wont let her miss school for dental appointments.

From my experience locally the reason is a lot of people are migrating from private to the new NHS dentists that are opening up. At the one I use there are 5 dentists, one Polish, one Russian, two Portuguese and a Sri Lankan. Two surgeries have opened in the last couple of years.

I can get an appointment within 24 hours and they even ring the day before an appointment to remind me. Only once have I had to wait more than 10 minutes when attending the surgery.

Probably the only thing Labour has got right apart from banning hunting :O)

My mate Greg, (the dentist of course) told me I have the firmest tooth he's ever seen with no plaque. I told him I call my tooth Saul cos 's all there is. :O)

Just kidding, I've got two really .... heh! heh! heh!
