Sadly old news or not there is a sad side to this. Religion attracts the anti campaign, same with politics and football club stickers. The anti this and that brigade will see red and trash your car. Insurers know this and may choose not to grant cover.

The simple answer is no. The insurers are looking for something that affects the risk and a GB sticker does not. Go faster stripes might be a problem if you fit them. This probably started on April 1.
