Abbey Freestyle 400 SE information

Hello

I have just purchased an Abbey Freestyle 400 SE (2001 ) but the handbook does not seem to match the caravan. The book covers Adventura, GTS Vogue, Spectrum and Iona but no mention of the Freestyle.

On the plate it says that the miro is 852kg and the mtplm is 1070kg.

The wheels are 165R13C and I would like to know the tyre pressures but more information would be helpful. The weights and wheelsize do not match up with any of the others in the handbook so if anyone has any information on this van I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks

Ivor

The Freestyle is a dealer special supplied by Lowdhams Leisureworld of Nottingham, etc.

The freestyle was based on the Aventura so that info should apply although being a dealer special it was up specced to GTS Vogue spec,if in doubt contact Lowdham.

Thanks Plotter

This caravan came from The Perthshire Caravan Company so it must have been a special for them. I have sent off an e-mail to ask if they can help so we will see if any information arrives.

Please send us an email with your chassis number and we will be able to give you some information.

We need the last 6 digits of your chassis number, it is etched on the windows.

Our email address is enquiries@swiftleisure.co.uk

Hello again

The Swift Group have replied to me and told me that the tyre pressures should be 51psi and Perthshire Caravans think that the pressures should be 36psi.

Does anyone else have any thoughts.

I can reassure you that the information we have provided to you is accurate. The dealer specials are always based on one of our standard vans and although the overall dimensions etc are identical some of the technical specifications do vary which is one of the reasons we insist on the chassis number before we give out information to our customers.

Thanks once again.

The tyres are now up to the correct pressure of 51psi.
