Would like some opinions of best route for car and van from Abbey Wood CC site to Tewksesbury CC site that avoids routes not friendly to caravans and avoiding congestion and polution zones etc

Would be doing it on a sunday in July

From the Caravan Cub site at Redhill i always go as follows:-

M25--M4 to junction 15(Swindon)--A419/A417 to M5--M5 to Tewkesbury C.C. site.

Except for about 5 miles the A419/A417 is dual carriageway all the way.

Once on the M4 i find it a relaxing tow.
