Has anyone got any experience of the setup for an ABI BROOKLYN 2001 . We are experiencing water supply problems which I think may be caused by a previous owner changing the pipes then doing it wrong.
The hot water pipe seems to have an overflow between the Truma tank and the taps, if I block this the water will get to taps . Does anyone know how the pipes should be set up.
thanks

thanks Damian
pic 1 is the hot pipe coming from the tank , iv fixed the leak 🙏🙏
pic 2 the hot rpuns down to a 3 way connector ( the red Pipe in pic 3 which is outside) I don’t think this is right.? but I’m not sure
The red pipe outside looks like an overflow but it’s between the heater and the taps and the water runs straight out of it.
Iv also got to cap it for the water to get drawn into the tank .
surely this isn’t right.?
thanks

Thanks for the pictures, very helpful.
You are right, the red hot water pipe should not be going outside, so remove the 3 way joint and fit a straight through joint and bin the red pipe going outside.

Thanks for your help, iv just ordered some connectors online,
so I can only ask , do you think this has just been a bodge job then?
this is our first caravan so learning as we go along. And what is the hole for that the red pipe is coming out of as there’s one near the front as well?

Yes it is some kind of "modification" done by a previous owner.
The hole the pipe goes through is a gas drop hole for the water heater and should not be obstructed with anything.

Thanks Damian much appreciated.
Do you think this3 way could be why I’m having problems with the water not getting drawn into the tank.?

In the pictures you have posted the yellow drain tap is in the Open position, so no water will stay in the heater.

It also looks like, but cannot be sure, there is water coming out of the clear pipe from the hot water outlet on the heater, in which case you will need a new fitting to replace the red fitting.

Mate once again thanks,
there is water coming out the clear pipe because i had just drained the tank.
I have the connectors to change them and have also decided to change the water inlet socket to help with the pressure.
I’ll keep you posted on the outcome

thanks 😊
