Hi everyone.

We just collected out first van this morning - a 94 4 berth Abi Monza and we are very pleased with it.

However when we looked at the cooker, the grill pan and the metal surrounds which sit on the gas hobs are missing. The cooker is the standard Abi cooker.

Does anyone know if/where we can get replacements for these?

Are they likely to be expensive?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Cheers

Hello Dave

Did you purchase your van from a dealership or did you buy privately?

If it was from a dealership go back and ask them where the missing items are - hopefully they will be sitting on a dusty shelf somewhere.

If it was a private purchase would it be possible to locate the seller and ask him where he has put them. He may, for some reason, have taken them out of the caravan for cleaning and foregotten to replace them.

Either way ABI is the name of the company manufacturing the caravan and the cooker, fire, etc., will have been bought in prior to installation.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dave

As Anne has said, first try to get the missing items from the seller but if this isn't possible have a look at the make of the cooker which will have been bought in by ABI.

This webpage will show you a list of caravan breakers up and down the country

You might be able to buy a grill pan from a normal shop or supermarket, just try to get any one that fits the cooker.

Thanks for your replies.

I think the problem will be the metal overlay for the rings that the pans sit on - that's missing and makes the rings next to useless...
