Hi all,im a bit of a novice to this game so any help gratefully received,on the control panel of my van there is the carver water heater switch which has 3 settings,am i right in assuming the top 1 is electric?as the other 2 are clealy marked gas and battery.If im hooked up which setting should it be on and why when my gas ran out the other night did i hear the pilot trying to ignite?There is also another switch beside it with just a red light on it like a standard immersion switch but i have no idea what its for and cant find anything in my hand book.thanks

I have the ABI Tristar same switches, the other switch is indeed a water heater but remember it takes a lot of amps to run so be careful if say boiling a kettle turn the heater off first to save blowing the post.
