I'm about to buy my first caravan - a 4 month old Adria Adora for 9K - but it doesn't come with an awning or stabilizer or integrated tv aerial - are these accessories essential? Awnings sound like a brilliant idea - what are the rest? Help gratefully received!
 
Hi Dawn,

None are essential, all are down to personal preference and priority. Personally I have always used a stabilizer as an extra safety device to an otherwise well matched and stable outfit, now built into hitch head. We use a full awning if away for more than a weekend and a porch for weekends although we didn't have one for the first year of caravanning. And, although we have had built in aerials for years now never take a tv so are totally unnecessary.
