Does anyone know if campsite owners can remove critical reviews from their ACSI page? I'm asking because I put a review on a site (not slating them, just pointing out a few things). My review appeared for a few days and has now gone! Reading the other reviews they are all complimentary - not a bad point raised at all. I'm sure I can't be the only person who has been less than enthusiastic about the site and if the owners can remove reviews this makes a nonsense of the system.

I've written to ACSI but not had a reply yet.
 
This doesn't answer your post, but if I want an impartial report of a campsite, I always look up 'TRIPADVISOR' on the web.

I have found that every campsite that I have queried in Europe, has been listed on their site. You also get the owners response to adverse comments, so it seems more fair to the pros and cons reviews!
 
I have seen adverse comments on campsites and they stick there. I was tol by a campsite owner they cannot remove them.
