+1 for Chew Valley, a clean well run site not too far from Bath with it's Georgian terraces and Roman baths

Can you be more explicit of the exact area - Somerset is quite large and wide - and what facilities on and off site you require?

I don't know how others are finding it, but I just spent the best part of 2 days to find a suitable pitch for 10 days in September, As the schools will be open again you might widen your search to include family sites to give a better chance of finding the dates you require. in the area you want to visit.

Bath Chew Valley is a delight. I have Waterrow booked for October.
Both will tick your box

+1 for Wells. Nice easy walk into the city. Waterrow is very friendly and well run but had a bad experience at The Rock nearby. Check the TripAdvisor reviews.

Er yes they did. Chew Valley, Wells and Waterrow are all adult. So unless their websites are telling porkies the replies are all valid.

If you do Facebook there is an Adult Only Caravan group and many of the sites have reviews on them. There are approximately 19 Adult only caravan sites in Somerset.

A tip if visiting StourHead, go in the Morning for the best reflections in the lake, The sun rising to the left of the lake and sets on the right.

An Autumn visit gives you some cracking views and reflections and if you're lucky some misty air to it.

Two really nice pubs thereabouts are the Somerset Arms Maiden Bradley. And the George Inn at Nunney. If you visit Bradford on Avon you will be totally spoilt fir choice.

Beachball,
In the that same area there is The Talbot at Mells for a special occasion or if you just want really nice meal in an old inn. Worth adding to your list.

When in that area we normally use Northam farm, but definitely not in school holidays. I know that Warren Farm next door have Adult only areas. Both are convenient for the beach and visiting the area.

It's also next door to the CAMC site. They give you a suggested route from the South West (M5) which is to exit the M5 at Junction 22, Burnham on Sea. From personal experience, I would recommend that you follow their suggested route and resist any temptation to leave the M5 earlier at Junction 21 if you're travelling south on the M5, as some of the roads you will find are almost single width leading up to blind bends.
