Did anyone see this advert on just now on Five. Ssying it is an offence to bring back meat, cheese and milk from Europe. How do we stand with caravans do you think with food in our fridges? Are they going to search our Fridges. Any comments?

There have always been limits but I did not hink it applied to items for personal consumption. We always do a shop at Carrefour before returning to the UK.

Have just had email answer from Defra re food in caravan fridge when returning from Europe and they say we have nothing to worry about and that the food in the fridge whatever it is, is Ok. Thats a relief.
