hi guys,

I have the opportunity to buy a Nissan Terrano 11 it has a few miles on the clock but seems very sound, my questions are:

1. are they good on fuel when towing?

2.what are they around town unhitched?

3.how may miles is the engine good for?

Hopefully someone can help me thanx in advance

Hi Ken

Fraid I had the 2.4 lwb petrol for many years not the 2.7 td.

Fuel consumption on that made my eyes water, but we were sad when we sold it.

There has been a few posts on the terrano - click on forum search and put terrano in search field.

The car itself was very reliable but compared to my wifes Honda CRV was quite agricultural to drive (but thats not really comparing like for like as off road the terrano is in a different league).

Nissan have a good reputation for their engine reliability but that all depends on regular servicing. Check the service history.

I'm sure someone will come up with the info you require as they are quite popular as a towcar.

Happy motoring
