I have a Sky box and I understand that if I get a dish I will be able to view the free Sky programes? I have seen on sites dishes that are on a tripod stand my questions are what is the best size dish to buy? where would I be able to purchase one?How much am I likely to have to pay? is there anything else I will need ?
 
The card isn't neccasary, but without you won't get channel 5, or any of the E4 channels. ypou can buy one from sky.com. Note that sky are currently in the process of upgrading the cards, the new ones are white. If you are offered a blue one by someone, don't buy as it will be useless very soon.

A mini dish is all you need in for the uk sky channels.
