Hi, Our Swift Challenger is as far as we know a 08 model, bought by another person in December 07, sold to us in May 08. Does that make the caravan an 08 or 07 model. In the Swift handbook it says the first service was done in 07, we are not sure if we come to sell it to say 07 or 08 model. Can anyone help please. We are very confused I,ll tell you.

If it had it's first service in 2007, assuming it was done 12 months after purchase then it could be a 2006 model?!
I'm no expert, but the serial number which are etched onto the windows of the 'van, will reveal it's true age - I think!!!

if it was at the end of a year it may be it was made in o7 but a 08 moddle to show people the new look 10 th digit on window will help remembre the year it was made is not the modle ie a 2007 modle could be a 2006 build.
remember the paper work may say first registerd in 2007 not built in 2007 the window numbers are put on in construction in factory so this would say when it was biult it could have been standing for a time before it was first registerd.
