We've just bought a second hand Kampa Air Awning and would like to reproof it, any recommendations for the best product to use and any other tips welcome!

Fabsil is very good. Choose a warm dry day. You can get small spray cans if you only want to do the seams or large liquid cans for a bigger area. Spray can did a great job on the seams of our Vango awning that were starting to leak.

Don’t use Fabsil over a grass area as it will kill the grass. But otherwise it’s an effective waterproofing agent.

Most camping shops will sell you suitable re-proofing stuff. Are you sure it actually needs doing as proofing tends to last pretty well.? Or are you just playing safe??

DO NOT spray the inside whilst you are in it !
Just spray the exterior whilst erected and let it “air”for a few days.

There are now more environmentally friendly waterproofing fluids. Grangers, Nikwax etc. I tend to use these now.

We also use it on our vango awning we thought it was great and very reasonable price from Go Outdoors 🙏
