That came out a while back but it relates to the worst case situation we’re because of heat the driver has an accident. It’s media hype again. But like HMG plan to give life sentences for death by dangerous driving. They already can give 14 years but have you ever seen anyone given one. Some seem to me ridiculous short given some of the cases you read about.

It’s in one of todays tabloids. I hadn’t seen it before but Hey Ho must be reading the wrong press😉How on earth are our dwindling police force going to enforce this. Not all have air con and some are malfunctioning. Whoever thought this one up should apply for the No 10 job. They will go far🤪🤪

The headline is sensationalist click bait.
The writers ( I can't describe them as journalists) are trying to come up with a new heatwave angle because other tabloids have already given dire warnings that because of a couple of hot days we're all going to die unspeakable horrible deaths unless we lie under the bed with a wet brown paper bag on our head, or something.
They'll soon be back to the usual meteorite induced Armageddon stories if Putin doesn't get us first. 😎

it’s been patently obvious over many years that the British can gild any lilly when it comes to introducing new laws and regulations. Now we can’t even blame our neighbours.

When we switch the computer on we get pages of sites with news adverts and advice and there are numerous warnings of being fined for lots of stupid things. Take them all with a pinch of salt as in the main they are extreme. The fines shown are the maximum even if you did find yourself being taken to court and are not typical of what is actually involved in the real world.

TBH it is difficult to get the police around for illegal parking never mind using or not using an air con. Think they have better things to do with their time.

Isn’t parking now the responsibility of the local authority? Unless a safety hazard or obstruction.

It was a tongue in the cheek remark however as you state unless a safety hazard or obstruction i.e. blocking your driveway.
