Hi

Can anyone tell me where i might get a pair of air bags like fitted to assist the rear springs on Campervans.

My Chrysler voyager has rear leaf springs that sit driectly below the chassis box sections, a lttle pair of air bellows inflated from an air line attachment would really help when running fully loaded and towing.

cheers Gareth

Hello Gareth,

If you actually need need to have some form of spring assistance fitted, then you must seriously consider that you might be overloading the vehicle.

The springs the manufacture fits will be able to cope with maximum load they specify, and if the springs are bottoming then either the springs are broken or you are overloading the axle.

Assisters should not be necessary

Hi Mikey You're thinking of someone else.

No mate I've never had an XC90, i did have a Volvo 340 a few years ago though.

I won't have a 4x4, a big MPV makes more sense to me as i don't need a massive kirbweight to pull my 1200kgs Typhoon. I'm getting 19mpg solo and 14 towing on LPG at 55ppl so i'm doing about as well as all but the best 4x4's with only about
