Airstream & Co tweaks its UK operations

So effectively, Airstream UK is mostly shut down - no longer manufacturing European Airstreams, no longer distributing European Airsteams - just doing sales and service to the small number of UK customers, like any dealer could.

Despite all the sales blurb and hype I have never seen an Airstream caravan on the road,I've seen a few that looked abandoned in fields and yards but that's all I've seen.
Are they as popular as they would have you believe.

Airstreams are like Marmite. you either love them or hate them.
Having worked on quite a few I actually hate them as there is always problems getting to things to repair, much worse than any other make van, and having to remove a wall and front window to get a fridge out, because it would not fit through the door, is not something I enjoy doing as the risk of damaging the aluminium skin is high and very costly to repair.
