AKS 3004

I've recently purchased a new AKS 3004 stabiliser for my 4X4, only to find that once I engage the handle into the locked position, after I have driven some distance, I find that the handle has jumped up, which leaves me worried as I have a long haul to Cornwall in 6 weeks time and am worried that the stabiliser is not working to its full potential. Any ideas for solving the problem would be greatly appreciated

Have you an Alko or swan neck towball fitted?

Your problem is a symptom of an incorrect towball.

I would expect it more likely to be that something is snarling the handle as you do a turn and, in doing so, pushing it up. Maybe a wiring harness?

i have had the same thing happen to me did you find the fault
