Al-Ko ATC Electronic Stabiliser

I understand that sale of Al-Ko's ATC has been delayed in the UK to allow time for modifications to cope with 12N/S 7-pin plugs.

Has anyone imported an ATC direct from Europe and fitted it to a caravan with a 13-pin plug?

Or even converted their car/caravan to 13-pin at the same time as fitting an ATC?

Sales were delayed everywhere because there was an issue of possible patent infringement with the LEAS electronic stabiliser which has been on the market on the Continent for about 10 years. This has presumably been resolved now.

I presume the legal bits are done because it is on sale on European websites, priced at 599 Euros but discounted down to 529 Euros.

Don't forget that the AlKo ATC electronic stabiliser will only fit certain AlKo chassis, so it would be best to check suitability first. The LEAS stabiliser, however, is universal but slightly more expensive.
