AL -KO ATC problem

I have recently purchased a Bailey Pegasus. On returning from last holiday the towing cable became loose and dragged on the ground. Most of the wires were ruined. I have replaced the cable and all is working except for that the AL KO ATC light will not come on when plugged up to the car. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do. Any replies will be be great. Thanks.

Possibly protected by its own fuse?Theres a wiring diag in the manual.

Thanks for your reply, have spent hours looking through books but had not seen wiring dirag. Think may have wired incorrectly just about to check . Thanks

SOUNDS LIKE WIRING PROBLEM WITH THE GREEN CABLE GOING TO PIN NUMBER 4 SHOULD BE PERMENANT LIVE ON VAN AND CAR.
CHECK FUSES ON BOTH,

checked all the wiring and that was all live, in the paperwork pin 4 green is for the indicators and they work ok. From diagram of 13 pin plug pins 13,11,10,9 connect to the Alko ATC but have checked all these and all is ok. Has anyone heard about memory becoming full of error messages?

Yes and read how to clear it but cant remember where.
I would ring AL-KO at Southam, their tech guys,they are very helpful people.

The Al-Ko ATC will reset itself of minor errors after an uneventful drive at 30mph for a few miles or a short drive at 10mph.
It will still retain major error signals and once a pre set number (and I have forgotten the number,,,,think it is either 25 or 50) have been recorded it will lock the unit out.
It can only be reset by an Al-KO technician with the necessary laptop and reset software.

I had a problem with the red LED on (not flashing). Al-ko were very helpfull and told me it was because the log memory was full. I was advised to plug the S7 into the car overnight or for at least 12 hours to clear the memory. Seemed to do the trick.

Thanks everyone for ideas. The problem has been sorted. As the cable had dragged for quite a while alot of wires were cut and this had blown the fuse in the CAR.
