Hi, anybody know the number for an AL-KO wheel lock for Roven 14" wheels? It's the number stamped on the casting. I have asked my van supplier but they seem reluctant to tell me. No doubt they want me to get one from them new rather than ebay!

Cheers!

Thanks Chris,

Al-KO say "refer to dealer". Their brochure says the same. It gives all wheel lock details for all alloy wheel types except for the new Swift Group ones that are dealer only! I was wondering if anyone already had a van with this type of wheel that could help.

Thanks for that. We have seen the Bulldog Max as well which is half the price and you can take from van to van. It looks a good product and reccomendations? Cheers,

Hi Jeff&Di

We have just bought a new freestyle and needed to swop the alko------ this would be the 3rd time as every time we upgrade theres a new lock, were fed up of paying such a high price every 2/3 years so we have gone for the bulldog max, it seems fine and easier to fit than the alko.

regards Maddy

I have just read Bulldog were taken to court by ALKO for patent rights infringements. ALKO accepted an out of court settlement from Bulldog and Bulldog have to remove all products relating to using the ALKO wheel lock carrier from sale. Not sure if I like the idea of getting one now. I can see insurance companies using it as an excuse not to pay out if the van is stolen. I will have to cough up the

I don't think they are "Roven" now but still number 23. I had a look at the NEC show and 23 was what was being used. I will update when I get it!

Thanks Chris. I was right though as they were Roven 14 and I did need number 23. Where the confusion arose was the exact make and model of our van as displayed at the NEC show last year was fitted with Swift Storm 14" wheels. We took a photo at the show so we would know what lock to get in advance of picking up the van. However the van brochure on the other hand said it came with Roven 14 wheels which as it turned out was indeed the case. I guess there is a lesson here as what is on display at these shows is not always what you are going to get!
