Having a clearout of old magazines and spotted a review of the AL-KO Motor Mover, which had the advantage of a much higher ground clearnce than exisating models. However I cannot recall hearing any more about it, either in reviews or letters to the magazine, am I missing something?

Hi George

Was it the AMS Mammut by Al-ko you had in mind?
I've never seen one in all my travels .

Hi Dusty,
Yes that is the one I was talking about, I remember it was expensive, around £1,500-00, but did have a much better ground clearance than the others available. It appears that it has not been successful, as there has been no articles or letters about it in any mags, or any posting on the forum.
I have an older Powrtouch that is 4 years old, did have some problems, but the service to repair was exceptional, as most people who have commented on, would agree.

Regards, George
