Al-ko stability hitch which one?

Hi my my caravan came with a 1300 stabiliser and i have also got a 3004 stabiliser my question is which is the best to use please Mark

The AlKo 1300 is designed for trailers up to an MTPLM of 1360kg and 100kg noseweight. The 3004 is OK up to 3000kg and 150kg noseweight. Performancewise there is no other difference.

Mark,

The Al-Ko:1300 is suitable for caravans up to 1360kg MGW and the 3004 is suitable for caravans up to 3000kg MGW.

If your caravans MTPLM is higher than 1300kg then I would suggest that the 3004 stabiliser must be used,

best regards, Martin

Lutz,

I must be getting slow in my old age

I thought that the 1300 only worked on side to side motion so has only one pair of pads and the 3004 also damped up down motion as well as the side to side motion so has two sets of pads.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
