I have a abbey vouge gts thats 14 months old.

The alarm thats fitted is a Sargent, manufactured fitted.

The question is when i go into the van i turn off the alam(2 beeps) but once inside there is a blipping from the alam, its like a trapped budgie!!! Its intermitnent and fairly quiet.

any ideas??

Maybe it's warning you that it's back-up battery is low or is it the smoke alarm warning of the same thing?

Smoke alarm batteries should be replace every 12 months - I doubt many dealers do it as part of the service.

This may surprise you, I changed our smoke alarm for a superior model when the original kept going off whist cooking, went to my electrical wholesaler, who advised a different type. Anyway that was fitted about 3 months prior to the service..... on the service ALL the batteries were changed.....
