Alarm

Hi guys, any bailey pagent bratagne 2007 owners have a F/fitted alarm as standard, only just picked up mine and manual says something about a Idm4 alarm, just wondered if it's missing or not factory fitted.

Can't help you on that one but we had the IDM3 alarm fitted to our caravan and it was not a factory fit at the time. Not sure if they are worth buying as all they do is sound an alarm and no one takes any notice anyway. If you are concerned, consider fitting a tracker.

Thanks, yer I guess your right due to so many false alarms people don't seem to pay much attention anyway, yes I was looking into a tracker as this alarm is quite expensive so I was looking to find fitting insructions to do it my self only can't seem to find fitting ins anywhere, only the reason I asked was the alarm setting insructions are in my bailey manual also a alarm fuse in my trip switch box, but I can't find any evidence of there being one in van anyway like screw holes etc as control panel would have to be by door and there's no sign of any holes.

There would also be two infrared detectors fitted in the caravan to trigger for intruders.

Right now I understand, no screw marks anywhere, is there a reasonably priced alarm out there for caravans
The Keen Electronics one is good, not too difficult to fit DIY and superb out-of-warranty service - I fitted one to my Pageant and was pleased that a Keen alarm was standard on my new Lunar.

Agree with RogerL the Keen basic unit (Dealer 2) is good value and easy to fit and any questions get answered very promptly
