My Alco Stabiliser is becoming very difficult to engage. I have to actually stand on the handle to put it down. Is there any way you can ease the pressure. I understand the tighter it is the better it is.

I suspect your alko hitch has a fault either displaced pads or some other fault that is stopping it from engaging the ball correctly it should not be THAT stiff, how long have you had it, and has it allways been stiff.

Hi Colin. I have had my Alko for about 3 years. It is only just recently that it has become quite difficult to engage. Ken
The handle goes up and down without any difficulty.
