Aldi website says that they are to have a caravan related items special-buy on 11th April 2019, this is under the 'coming soon section-caravan and travel'.

I cannot find details of what is on offer, does anyone have a source of information?

The poster in Aldi showed a table, an aquaroll and folding chairs. (and the usual attractive family enjoying these wonders)
Can't help with detail I am afraid.
As there is not a Caravanning gadget known to man, not in our possession already, I am not sure we will find anything there ( but will still go and look)

Certainly good prices for the Blue Diamond Toilet fluids (£5.99), and time to renew the hard ground pegs (7.99).
I'm in the queue!

Well worth a punt maybe?
Who makes it?
Warranty?
DIY fit?
Includes heavy TA.
Good to see Aldi pushing the boat out.

I don't know who makes them but branded emove who sell various caravan accessories.

They come with a 5 year parts only warranty. You can pick them up for this price anyway, several places sell them under that brand name or the same item under other names., I know this because I researched them before getting one a couple of years ago.

I have just refitted it to my new caravan this weekend gone. I've had no issues with it.

I think Emove are Danish and seem to have a good access to the Dutch, German and Scandinavia markets. The Aldi one is the basic hand engaged unit but no mention of a cross bar to wind both rollers on from one side.

It does have a cross bar to wind on both movers

I'm pretty sure it is this one Dusty, or a variant of it:
http://www.emove-uk.com/em203/

5 year warranty with Aldi.

And, yes, it is a DIY fit, instructions included.

All the bits needed for a complete set up including the crossover bar to engage both wheels simultaneously (if desired).

OC,
The Aldi one has a cross actuation bar, see bottom pic on left hand side of the Aldi advert where more info is listed.

Has anyone tried one of these yet?
We have a Powrtouch 1 and it looks like the gear box has gone which will be a £150 replacement. Rather than fixing one, and then having the other fail in a while we're seriously thinking of replacing the whole thing, and this Aldi offer seems pretty good.

Edit next day... Having looked at the spec and compared it to the Powrtouch evolution it's £100 cheaper, parts only warranty, a third of the speed and a 18% incline instead of 25%, so on balance we will probably spend to extra 100, and get the Powrtouch if it comes to it, over the 10+ years we hope to use it it's not much of a price difference.
