I am thinking of buying a damp meter to see how effective recent anti-damp work has been and to check on any further problems. For this purpose I would not be looking for a precision instrument any more than I expect the tyre guage I keep in my car to be; just something built to a reasonable standard for general guidance. Does anyone have know of one such?
Hi Tim, Glad you see my point of view of cheap damp detector, they are not worth it, glad you caught your damp reading in your van in time and money well spent, Trevor
i would just like to say that as an avid Aldi lover, things may be cheap in their store but never rubbish and as far as i am aware everything like this comes with a three year warranty, so if there was any doubt or it breaks down there would be no problem in changing it.
