Aldi damp detector

I am thinking of buying a damp meter to see how effective recent anti-damp work has been and to check on any further problems. For this purpose I would not be looking for a precision instrument any more than I expect the tyre guage I keep in my car to be; just something built to a reasonable standard for general guidance. Does anyone have know of one such?

When i worked, we used professional multi-meters, my Fluke had all manner of functions, and was very accurate.And expensive.

i would just like to say that as an avid Aldi lover, things may be cheap in their store but never rubbish and as far as i am aware everything like this comes with a three year warranty, so if there was any doubt or it breaks down there would be no problem in changing it.
