Alko hitchlock stablizer disc pads

Are the alternatives disc pads manufactured by other company's as good as the genuine Alko ones

No way of really telling but I would always use genuine Alko pads on such a piece of kit. After all they last thousands of miles.

Same as OC, but I have a spare set, and when they still Trumpet like an Elephant, I replace them with the other set which have been degrease and deglazed, as long as they are within limits on the hitch. But I replace the fore and aft ones every couple of years.
