alko stabiliser & ferry

With my old style bulldog blade stabillizer, when boarding the ferry i use to release the stabillizer. With my new caravan do i still have to release the alko 3004 stabillizer. If so, do I do this by just pulling up the red handle. Thanks Pete

You can release the AlKo stabiliser when boarding the ferry but as you are not going to do much manoeuvring while on board, there's no real need.

hi lutz , thanks for the quick replie, i once heard or read that when boarding the ferry as their is quite a bump ( bit like a speed bump) between the boarding ramp & ferry that some type of stabileser used to get damaged , so i was worried if the same would happen to the alko 3004 seening as it was an down up movement as opposed to a side to side movement . thanks...

No, no need to worry about negotiating bumps with the AlKo as there is nothing which could get into the way.
