Alko stabiliser pads

Apologies if this is somewhere in the forum. I thought I had posted it already but cannot finf it.

Can anyone tell me how to change the pads in my Alko stabiliser and also how do I find out which model it is, so I know which pads to buy.

Have a look at Alko's website. They have handbooks for the different types along with instructions for changing the friction pads.

I could not identify whether I had a 2004 or a 3004 without actually looking inside the hitch at the front & back pads.These are different on each type although the side pads are the same. if you check on this website you should be able to identify which model you have by compairing the front/rear pads to the ones fitted in your hitch http://www.leisureshopdirect.com/Caravan/chassis/Caravan_Stabiliser_Spares/Alko_Stabiliser_Spare_Parts.aspx

Just changed the pads on my 3004. The instructions make a simple job look a bit complicated, a bit of common sense and its very easy.
