Aluminum side panels sealant

On one side of my elddis 304 there is a bead of sealant between the outer side wall panels.(top and bottom ) but on the the other there isn't any and you can see movement between the panels when you push on them . Is this normal how much of an overlap is there between these panels ?

As there is a seal on one side then there should be on the other, if not then that is a worry.
There is not much overlap and depending on the type of panel it may have a lipped edge or may be just a flat panel, in either case that would be a possible water ingress point.

I do not know how old your van is, but if still within warranty then I would be having a very frank conversation with your dealer.!!!

Even if the caravan is second hand, provided you purchased it recently, you may have recourse under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 - it could be worth reading up about it.
