Back in the early seventies we had the Bedford van for installing TVs. In addition we also had the Commer van. On one occasion while visiting a customer we took the TV out and at that moment a very vicious Alsatian came at us. We both jumped into the back of the van, but the dog followed us so we bailed out the front doors.
My mate then go the bright idea of closing the back doors while the dog was inside the vehicle. We delivered the TV and installed it. Then there was problem as we could not get back into the van.
We had to phone work for them to ask the owner to come and remove the dog from the van. 90 minutes later we were off again. Company would not pay overtime for us working late that day. Stingy people! LOL! 🤣
