And yet another storage site fire

After the fire near Mickley a few weeks ago with massive damage, we have had yet another one, this just a few miles from the last one.

Seventy caravans and motorhomes destroyed. Fifty more damaged. Must be heartbreaking.

So many people going to lose their holidays again. Insurance nightmare or what.

I must say, I would have had suspicions in respect of the Mickley fire given the problems from the local estate but no thoughts at all on this one.

I thought it had been stated in the media, that the first one at Mickley was a suspected arson attack and therefore due to the closeness, this one could have been too.

Very bad for the owners. If we have many more we will get the insurance loaded for using storage rather than getting a discount.

That’s a twist of fate. It was an Insurer who founded Cassoa rated sites!

Update.

Police are saying now that the Blidworth fire IS arson and are investigating links to the Stretton/Mickley fire.
