Another cadac posting

Can anybody tell me what the hook is for inside the domed lid of the cadac carri-chef deluxe? It may be me that is missing something but for the life of me I cannot see what it is for....

the hook in the lid is to hang it on the side of the barby.

I use it as a wind sheild hooked on the side
